This week is one of my happiest week as there are a lot of old friends who have been joining our mahout training course. Pavel and Katherina from Czech Republic has came back to visit us as old friends of me and elephant.. This is bring me the happiness of working at Thai Elephant Conservation center so far over  8 years of working with elephants..

Kat and Pavel is more than my friends as they have been visiting the camp 4 times ago, they love it. Especially Kat she always visit website and see what 's new at the camp and her elephant. Especially she miss her elephant " Prachaub" and Pavel has Jojo as his elephant..When they first get to the camp, I can see their eyes that they really miss their elephants.. I am so excited to meet like Helen, Cherry, Nola, Dianne, Dr. Shaw, Wendy, Albert and Nicole in very near future.. Oh my Buddha (my god)  I am so excited to meet you..

Tonight I just added about 500 images and it will be completed uploaded by tomorrow morning.. good night every body..

Thank you very much for joining us three day mahout training course during 1-3 of July; Thomas, Jessica, Evanne, Heather and Lorna.. Jess and Tom they both are from London UK and other three girls are from Ireland, they just left the camp happily today afternoon to Chiang Mai..

They told me that they had really good time with elephants and mahout here.. they will recommend it to the friends too..  I wish Tom and Jess will email their family to see the pictures on this website before they get back home....

Note.. Prachuab she has prettiest tourist so far as she always has male tourists for her training course as Jess is Model in UK as the part time job...








Seven is one year old yesterday...

I think it is not too late to say or sing " Happy birthday Song " to our lovely baby elephant " Seven as he was born on Seven of July 2007 by his mother Pang Kaew.

Yesterday I did not realize that Seven turned one year old so I did not buy any things for him, but today I did. So if any body wants to say some things to Seven, you are very welcome to add some comments of this entry...

I think this is coolest shot of the tourist in our mahout training course, Ben is riding on Pang Kod and Pavel is on Jojo in Water fight. Ben he is from UK had arrived at the camp and stayed one night before.. He was so excited about to be with elephant....

This photo was taken this morning as Prathida and her close friend Prachaub was playing each other while we were taking the elephant for bath..

I do not know what does it mean when two elephants put their trunk to their friend's month, I think it is one of the way to communicate to each other..

I just went back from the forest this morning with Seven tourists in our three day mahout training course and two day course.. The rain kept pouring a whole night and elephants covered themselves with mud So it causes all mahout difficulties to clean it off from elephant's back, because it was very sticky...But we still walk into the forest to collect our elephants and our tourists did not mind about the rain..

Especially that I was told be the mahout that when the rain starts falling and next day, their elephants become a bit stubborn, and it seems was true as I heard John kept calling Prathida his elephant to come to him and she just ignored his commands.. haaaaaaaaa.... But anyway all elephants were very happy last night as the rain gives the weather cooler and cooler and our surrounding natures become very green..

I wish you guys will come back to join our course in near future again.. You are very welcome to add some comments or just say hello on this comments..

Just added this photo on net to keep in touch with every body which they won't be disappointed when visiting the website.. I remember that I took this photo  a couple day ago while Prathida was hold here friend's tail and walked into the show ground to perform the first show.. This photo is also added on the gallery....

Ps. The tail of that elephant must be Prachaub as she always walks ahead of Prathida, but not walking from the forest, Prathida is the first of all elephants who always be the front of the herd..

I just would like to thank Dale the elephant keeper from Denver Zoo in USA in joining our three day mahout training course and he just left the camp today afternoon.. Dale is great tourist and mahout as he has been working as the elephant keeper more than twenty year. So he is very skillful tourists in our mahout training course ever.

I just put Prachaub as his elephant during staying at the camp, and he said this morning that he learned a lot of things at the camp. Especially he told me that he will be back and he want to take Prachaub back to his Zoo.

At Denver Zoo he takes care of two elephant,  and all are Asian elephant..

I just post this lovely photo of Prathida and her tourists in three day and two day mahout training course on 22-24 of June, Katherine came a long from USA with her boyfriend Mitch.

This photo I just took it this morning when we went into the forest to collect the elephants and took them back to the camp.. So every body looked very tired as riding on the elephant was not easily, because you guy can get sore legs afterward like Kate told me this morning that she was very tired and sleepy.. haaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Today my tourists are finishing their three day mahout training course after we spent three day and two night at the camp and they really have great time with elephants.. Last night it took me a whole night to upload at least 500 photos of them on Flickr account and I was told by Thomas that he will call their parents to view his photos on net.
