I am not sure what you mean with the picture – it looks like a beautiful parade to the showground but not sure why type of parade you mentioned?
    Thanks

    • This Elephant parade is a part of the light and sound shows at Thai Elephant Conservation Center during 9 – 13 of January 2013..

It sounds very exciting. So there is music and celebration? During the day? Or is the light show at night? Could you explain to me please what they do? I am thinking when I retire in 2014 I will come to TECC in December or early January instead of May since I plan to stay in Thailand for at least six months. It would be wonderful to see this and the many other celebrations that you have that I have never seen before with the elephants.

        • Dear Karen,

This event was held to promote tourism of TECC and especially to honor the King and Elephant about what they did in the past.. The show features on the war in Thai history which the elephants were involve.. This is the second year..
