Yes, Mon is in touch with me every day. It will be very interesting when she brings her production team to TECC. This will be an excellent documentary she is making. With your wide angle lens you will be able to capture some wonderful pictures.
Supat these photos are just wonderful. I believe you have captured the National Elephant Day beautifully in these photos. I hope that I will be part of this event one day.
Steve

Well done Supat Sutti! Lovely photos! I was there that day. Is such a wonderful event and so colorful too! Love it. This is my first time attending the National Elephant Day. I came with HSH Princess Malini Mongol Yugala. First time to met her elephant too. I’m wondering, if you have got more photos on that day?
Thanks
Keith
Who is the Princess’s elephant please? I know of Prathida and Wanalee not sure of third which were adopted by one of King’s daughters who I believe has since passed away. She had a very big heart for the elephants. It is a wonderful experience going to TECC. I have been going for this will be my seventh year in May. Do you visit TECC often? Supat is the very BEST photographer you cannot get any better than he is. He captures the light just right. He also purchases his own equipment which is of great expense I am sure. But he loves the elephants.
Hi Karen, Princess’s elephant is Nao Oon. Still a very young elephant. This will my third visit to TECC, and is my first visit this year. Previous visit just a private visit. I believe I’ll go there more often from now on as I now live in Thailand. The world need more people like Supat.
Hi Keith,
Are you the man with two camera ?
Supat
Hi Supat,
I’m actually in one of your photo above (11 from bottom up),long sleve, back facing you taking photo, Princess also in there. I was sitting behind Princess at the stage.
Keith
Hi Keith,
Where are you from? Keith sounds very American. Nao Oon was chosen by the Princess? Was Nao Oon born on the Princess birthday? Nao Oon is so very gentle and so kind and giving. She is very obedient and wonderful. Very smart. Maybe I will see you one day at TECC. I hope to retire part time in Thailand, in the north, as I have fallen in love with all the elephants at TECC and the people like Supat, are now my adopted family. Have a wonderful day. And yes, the world needs many Supats! He takes care of me like a son would. It’s great and he spoils me
I’m originally from North Borneo/Sabah (Malaysia), and had spend half my life in New Zealand. I love animals and I miss all the wildlife back home when I’m in NZ. Now I’m in Thailand, is a good time to get close to them again as many of them is getting fewer. Next time when I met Princess again, I’ll try to remember to ask her why she choose Nao Oon. I can tell she love Nao Oon so much by the way she talk to me and get all excited. Will more likely to see me at TECC when Princess go there again next time.
HI Keith,
Wow, it is amazing how I keep meeting people from Australia and NZ. I’ve never been to Australia but a good friend of mine who has visited TECC (Jim is now in Borneo on vacation visiting Sabah – wow, small world!) and his significant other Cheryl Wood is a regular at TECC. They once lived in NZ and I visited NZ both north and south Island backpacking with my eldest daughter. Did many exciting things like the Milford Trek, Fox Glacier, Wellington, Coromandel Pennisula, Bay of Plenty, up to 90 mile Beach, Kittewahoo I have good friends. Absolutely breath taking beauty there. But, my love is with the elephants now. Where are you living In Thailand? North or South? I hope perhaps you will visit when I am there at TECC May 26 Saturday until the following Friday – I will do the six day program. We would have lots to talk about!
Karen
